Loose thingy in engine bay

  sold
Hi chaps and chapesses,
While fitting my air filter, I noticed the thingy pointed out in the photo was loose. I'm sure it's not supposed to be. Can anyone confirm this ?

If it's supposed to be tight, I can't be bothered with the whole booking it in with Renault thing. It should be easy to tighten - right ?

Problem is that the front grille seems to be in the way of me getting a socket in there, and I've had a look and can't see an easy way of getting it off.

  Audi A6 (S3 on order)
Looks like you are pointing at the fuel rail protector.

pssst .. someone put a ring on your thumb when you weren't looking. ;)

  Bye Bye 182....
Its a fuel rail cover. Get a 10mm socket and 3" extenstion and put it in the holes to tighten the two bolts. Jobs a good un then

You will find it easier to put the socket and extention in by hand and then attach the wrench part after
