I have the same issue with PS fluid in my van on track.

so before the track day, I suck out some fluid and run it on minimum. This gives enough space for it to expand and not piss out everywhere.

Looks class, i bet its great fun, my old Kangoo used to handle great. Pas wise, as @Daniel said above run the pas fluid on the minimum marker and your issues will be sorted.

@Daniel @Brigsy ill probs give it a go when it was hot it was wining a bit I didn’t kno if it was due to overheating but it was hot on the day cheers for info tho👍👍I’ll deffo try it

The PAS fluid always overflows on M3’s on track so the common fix is a cheap bike brake fluid reservoir to give some extra room for expansion, can see mine on the left of the bay. Cost about £7 so might be worth a try?

The stock reservoir already has a vent hole in the cap so the 90deg fitting pushes straight into there, it just sprays a fine mist across the engine bay on track previously but obviously didn’t want to block it off completely.

I’ve kept extra length of the rubber hose so I can unscrew the cap if needed, then there’s an existing bolt next to the wing that I’ve fixed the reservoir to. Really common fix on M3s.

Update finally back in it again it started off as needing a gearbox oil seal.. but I decided to goto town got a new power steering pump as mine stated whining and some redline racing steering fluid I got the alternator reconditioned new gear oil I had a funny starting issue so got a new crank sensor also a new flywheel and clutch and done silicone hoses and finally new ac condenser so spoke to @NorthloopCup and he recommended group n and a light fly wheel and what a difference cheers mate and cheers again to @colesy for fro n tool
Took van to engine dynamics and made 186.9bhp and 156.6lbft I just can’t believe how much different them bits made its tranformed it immensely

Did another track sesh was a evening and it was great fun!! Van was flawless with group n and light fly ect but obvs with steps forward there’s always one back but I can’t complain as it’s no biggie as it’s just a power steering switch has failed but made a mess 🤦🏼‍♂️ But here’s some pics anyway..
won’t mind trying to get Caldwell park booked next we shall see

Little update got my drivers seat repaired and gear gaiter done ion kangoo and they did the gaiter in my 850 and doing a t5R steering wheel also picked up a set of cup turinis but can’t decide on silver or grey and today it was doing van duties 😱😂and I finally got my hands on a ph1 flamer👌🏿

Who did your 850 gaitor chap? Mines leather and is shagged/the base is cracked. Would like suede to match the armrest etc and that looks tidy!

hi @Panda. I used the trim shed Norfolk done a nice job she reattached it to the base and same agin on kangoo gaiter I haven’t got any pics of base ect👍

Although volvo gear knob removal was a cant as they are pressed on 😂😂

All my other manuals have broken bases they are brital and shite now!! And That’s always an awkward question 😂😂 I had my center consol out and had a a nice fitting spanner under knob and a pair of mole grips on the stick and try leaver between the two I think was the most successful way I found! it wasnt an easy knob removal I must say 😂😂

I fancy a mix up I dunno if people will be excited or not but after seeing @Chambers_RS project and driving my brothers integra and CTR it feel like the van need a k20!! So I sold the engine and box and bought a k20 engine box and shafts will be making most of the bits to convert so bare with..
I’m hoping to get to around 230+ Bhp gunner do standard bolt on mods like intake manifold Zorst mani blah blah also gunner put a new Honda chain and tensioner light flywheel and a lsd so yeh a few pics of how it currently sits nothing to excite yet

Cheers mate yeh hopefully just need to cut a little out of the passenger chassis leg should fit ok 🤞🤞I’m gunner run stock Honda engine ecu with a stand alone loom conversion so I can keep the kangoo loom keep abs ect just need to find out tachometer input and speedo input for Renault cluster, I’m gunner go down Honda vert piggy back ecu for remapping ect as it’s half the price of a kpro fitted and live map

A little bit of a boring update..
bought a lot of parts nearly everything I need!!
Got a new genuine chain and tensioner
Billet flywheel with oem clutch
Weld in sump baffel
Rbc Un modified inlet with thermal gasket
Hybrid racing universal loom
Lots of other bits
So made start on engine stripped down and fitted chain and tensioner guides were mint as was oil pump chain but the cam chain was stretched to F and the tensioner had failed.
Also tigged the baffles in sump I’m learning to tig don’t judge!!! 😂😂
And all sealed up with Honda bond hopefully lsd next week and I’ll have a bash at fitting that !!
