Personally I can't bloody wait. Out in a matter of weeks (21/01/2011).

Anyone pre-odered?

The first game was truely epic. It's safe to say I will be buying it on the PC as that is how it's ment to be played.

I thought the release date was more like the 29th of April? :/

I pre-ordered on the weekend. I got the two pack, so it worked out at like £24. I'm really looking forward to the co-op!

Also, I now have two extra copies of Portal on Steam... if anyone is interested let me know...

Pre-ordered a couple of weeks ago. Can't wait! Most looking forward to Co-Op and hoping it will be longer than Portal 1 (which was epic.)

Portal 1 was superb. Was great getting stuck on a level and then finally working it out.

I remember being lowered into the fire pit at the end thinking "f**k me it's a very short game", then I died in the fire and respawned on the platform thinking "Ohhhhhhhh! There's more!!"

It's the 19th for the US. I'm sure Europe are getting it on the 21st

It was the 21st, but now Steam is saying 19th in the UK as well.

Unlike Valve to move the release date forward :rasp:

Just checked.

Does still seem to be the 21st for the EU.

Although Steam is saying my game unlocks in 5 days ** Hours.

Weird!

Haha we all have the bank holiday weekend to play it too. Lucky sod!

Yup, I took the "magic" three days off from 26-28th, so I get 11 days off in a row

Maybe it unlocks on the 19th, to download ready to be activated to play on the 21st?

Same mate! Booked the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday off. I'm in on the 21st and then off till the 3rd of May

Got loads of time to blast through this. I'm up for some co-op if you are, think you have me on Steam?

In case you haven't been following it, from the Alternate Reality thing that Valve have been doing they've been dropping hints about stuff.

This was found from those hints:

Decrypting Steam Files now

Review embargo is also lifted. PC Gamer gave it 94 and their review is fairly spoiler free.

It's 10GB installed but my steam said it had downloaded just over 7GB. I want to go home and play it

SP campaign is around 10 hours and Co-Op is around 4 hours.
