My mates sold his WRX and wanted something cheaper to use for a year while he saves some money so he thought about a 98ish VTR or a valver! Even though I used to have a VTR I pushed him towards the valver! He had the cash in hand and need to buy one this weekend so we scoured the trader etc and found one in Manchester. K-reg, white, 73K, phase2 wheels (boo), lowered, NO rust!, service history till 57K £1400ono. Went to have a look and was surprised how good it was bodywork and interior superb. Did all the usual checks and all was well. Downside was the clutch was slipping but my mate is a mechanic so can fit a new one himself at work. The guy didnt wanna budge on price but got him down to £1240. Think would have bought it myself if my mate hadnt! Looking forward to having a go myself now when the clutch is sorted!
