megane225 cup fact or fiction

is it true that they are bringing out a cup version ??? because im about 2months from buying the 225. obviously it will have either switchable traction or no traction with wider track and lower... but is it more likely to be the standard car with a Cup-option maybe new cup racing blue colour and badge.

anyone heard anything. because i could always get the standard car and subtly lower on Apex/ Eiback then add racelogic switchable traction with the added bonus of a launch control feature.

There a modified version comming out uprated power brakes suspension Im sure but I dont think there going to lighten it.

I dont think its out till the end of the yr though and might not be availiable till the new registrations next yr.

Im going for a test drive in a Megane 225 this weke, so will ask at the dealership for their opinion.

cool, tell me how it compares to the cup, coz the new car dealer in reno told my friend that is completely diff to the cup, and alot faster... (and now my friend wants one on that basis!)

They wont admit its existance.

No idea when it would be released mid 2005 Im sure. It will depend though on other factors ie how well the normal sport version sells. If it does well then they wont release it for longer.
