Took one of my wheels down to Re-Vamp wheels in Orpington to have a couple of slight knobbles taken out of it and the whole wheel sprayed. The blokes took the dings out of the wheel no probs but said it was impossible for anywhere to get that colour paint, tried another wheel place in Blackfen and he said the same !! What can I do now, dont want to drive around with a kerbed wheel and dont want to buy a new one either !!! Anyone else had this problem ?? Rob Fenn, the blokes down there are very nice/helpful and do a good job, just the paint colour is a problem [you asked as its near you].

It maybe worth trying your bodyshop as they have their recommended wheel refurbers.

Dont have a bodyshop mate, am going to try Rimtech in Dartford next. Did get all my tyres done after at RSR tyres, Uniroyal Rainsports pumped up with Hydrogen [F1 technology apparently ??], car feels 10 x better but this could be to, no buckles in wheel, new tyres or the Hydrogen, I dont know, much better anyway, apart from some mailto:tw@t">tw@t at RSR messing with the two immobilisers so my hazards were going non stop, had to sit there like a knob with the battery disconnected whilst they re-set themselves !!!! Anyway, the number is 01689 873 273, tiny shop so if you want to know where it is give me a shout mate.

£1.25 or something a corner, may be a load of b0ll0cks but for a fiver its worth a try, apparently you get better handling and wear out of your tyre and never have to check tyre pressure as its denser than air so doesnt leak !!

Hey yall

hate to say it guys but i think youve been had, hydrogen is the least denser element of them all and so its impossible that it could be lighter than air...

hence they used to use it in airships to make them float(b4 they exploded one and killed hundreds)
