MK1 Clio diesel

searched and searched didnt get 100% asnwer

I've got a 1996 1.7 clio Mk1 Diesel here.
if i went into tesco and brought 30 liters of sunflower oil.
fliterd it and mixed the 30 liters of sunflower oil with 3liters of Diesel ( strate outa a normal petrol station )

can this just go strate into the Mk1 diesel and work ??? or have i done my research wrong :-(

car cost me £50 so its worth a weeks worth of fuel lol.

So my best bet to run the engine good on 90 Veg and 10 derv
would be to have a bosch fuel pump and a Heated fuel filter ??


Think i understand this alright.
does the veg oil need any thing added apart from diesel ?

been thinking
If i have a tank of 100% veggie oil
and another tank of diesel.
Have them both wired/piped in with switch on the electrics to use the diesel to start the engine and when the engine has warmed up turn on the pure Veggie oil pump and turn off the diesel

would this work :-D
