Modifcation Money Fast Road Fun :)

  Clio 197 R27 Albi
Right im waiting for some money to come through in the next 2 weeks. Should be about £2k. I dont want to save it in a isa or anything, after all you only live once so might as well spend it on something you love... Clio 182. :)

Though I dont want to blow the whole 2k in one whole go so what do you rekon in order should I go for first.

Btw im looking for a fast road set-up so if anything I have below is not added please feel free to change/add.

  • Brembo HC Discs + DS2500 Pads + KTR Stainless Brake Lines
    £207
  • Suspension Kit (Not sure on which make yet)
  • OZ Ultraleggra Alloys with new Tyers
  • Headunit/Front Components (Possible Amped??)
  • Re-Map from RS Tunning with matched inlets
  • KTR /JANSPEED 182 STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST
    £340
Hope to hear your idea's soon

Forget the Ultra's, wrong offset.
Fit a top notch suspension set up and do the brakes as you say and the car will feel much faster without any engine work :)

Yozza zorst as opposed to the KTR one, there's a group buy offer on here at the moment.

Audio wont aid speed! ;)

H&R coilovers would be my choice if money was no option.
They're about £1k brand new, then spend £300 on brakes and £400 on an exhaust. With the change buy an ITG Maxogen - job done.

:)

  a turbo'd yellow car
H&R's mate! worth every penny!

front strut brase helps to! £60

get toyo R888 best legal slicks you can get! no need for new wheels unless you want some trophy speedlines which weigh less

no need for 4pots as you have great brakes already! plus you are not making the car alot quicker (turbo) brembo disc's alround and pads will be the best £ 4 £ option!

do you want a loud exhaust or not? yozza (loud) k-tec (stelth)

hope that helps!

i heard yozza are loud as well though i was gonna de-cat so the k-tec with de-cat may be loud enough. not sure yet

What he's said is spot on for a fast road set-up.

Suspension and brakes will make a much much bigger difference than wheels, stereos and engine mods (the mods shown will give you tiny tiny gains for the money)

I wouldnt bother with the maxogen though! Unless you want the noise it makes. Spend that money on getting the coilovers set-up by a decent motorsport tuning company, will make a vast difference to the coilies. Car will stick like poo to a blanket.

The brake upgrade you've listed in your first post is very good.

Standard pilot exaltos are plenty grippy, grippier than toyos in most conditions.
