Mods 4 me new RSI coming 2 Colchester!!

Rite, Getin me N reg 1996 Clio 1.8 rsi on saturday

only mods on it r 15" alloys at moment

So its guna need lowering and an air filter probly as first mods

money will b tight 4 a bit though so what can i do that wont cost me alot

and also what air filter do u lot suggest for the rsi???

any suggestions would b lovey

its dark metallic green by the way!!!!

first buy 4 the car will b a nice new shiny haynes manual

induction kit......... as its getin hotter now is it worth getting 1 really as hot air aint guna b doing any gd anyway, so can probly wait

will c how it handles and how the power feels,
lowering will prob come early on, should cost 2 much if i buy the springs then get a friendly garage 2 do it afta hours for cash!!

what about for more power, exhaust system could b done!!

took me ages 2 work out how 2 open the bonnet when i was lookin at it, neva had a car b4 where it opens up from near the windscreen wipers

Dont mod it at all, till youre bored with it, then do somat

You get more satisfaction that way imo

air filter - modify a bmc cda to fit (this is what im planning)

lowering - yes, mine is dropped 50mm and feels like its on rails

exhaust - cant go wrong with scorpion or magnex full cat-back system

should have quite a quick little motor on your hands after the above

yep, decat is a given. most noticeable mod on the RSi imo.

excellent, a nice cheap mod, problems only come around mot time, if the emissions are too high with the decat fitted, as im too lazy to refit the cat

how must is 6 months tax on a 1.8 anyway??

car will stay how it is 4 a while, just put me sound system in it but then will av 2 c how me money goes!!

prob get it lowered b4 i go 4 exhaust or air filter as its deff 2 high at moment

then check me funds and go 4 sum perfermance modding

8.6--- 0-60 standard should do me 4 a lil bit, was happy with me old ax gts 9.5 secs 0-60

so aslong as me rsi is running sweet then should b happy 4 a bit

should b getin rid of me crappy corsa soonish, sum1 mite b looking at it 2mora nite so hopefully will sell then av sum money coming in bit better

Ive had an AX GT for a while and they are 8.5 0-60.

on parkers says ax gt is 9.5 i think, and 8.6 for rsi

my ax gt was runnin bit crap though, so prob pretty slow

at moment the clio is on 15s at standard ride height

want it lowered, but how much???

dont want it 2 scrub really
