Heyup everyone could anyone tell me the following plus contact numbers nd prices if possible.I am wanting more power from the 172 engine..

which is

the best chip

best induction kit

best exhaust

plus anything else anyone can think off...

ps anyone know who can do the stuf local to chesterfield,sheffield etc...

think the pipercross and unichip are regaurded as the best combo as for the exhaust i dont think there is a clear best from what ive read on the forums if you want loud tho go for the supersprint race system

cheers mate thanks for that...what about the magnex system for performace..not wanting something boomy though....what about the ktec cat removal pipe? does this make a difference..i had one on my saxo and it aactually buggered up the performance....what about the viper? does the car have to be rolling roaded after fitting? i heard that tis is supposed to give 10bhp plus but some peoplpe have said it again messed things up????? please anyone got any views on this lot?

Hill Power do a stage 1 kit for a cup inc. induction kit and group N ECU. Looks good on the website, but no prices.

i think k-tec are doing a sports cat if you are worried about decatting it and having problems with running or hassle of removal when your 1st MOT comes round

depends on how serious [or how much cash] u r bout tuning ur cup. for example several places do head cams n chip for 1500ish after uv got ur zorst n ik, not worth spending on a chip now if u plan to do this l8r eh. i have k-tecs twin zorst, its quite loud. theyl be getn sum sports cats this week[wed or thurs] u wont have to change it back cum mot time. of course sum r waitn on the roamer tb package maybe 3kish early nex yr. who knows maybe next year we may see turbo or supercharger somewhere....

My mk2 172 has a decat and I have no problems, just unplugged the 2nd lambda sensor and 1st one screws onto the decat.

thanks for that....i really would like a chip, exhaust system and ind kit to get 200bhp!!! is this possible? thats where im trying to get to...what would be the best way? ind kit first then exhaust? etc....where is the best place to get a chip from..heard there is a place in chesterfield from craggy that supplies and fits a chip then rolling roads the results etc

craigy172 has an exhaust unichip and pipercross viper and he is seeing 196bhp so not that far off 200

Cuppy when you get these mods please let me know as I will be very interested in seeing the gains as at the mo my cup is a handfull in the wet, as I am not fully impressed with the goodyear f1s I have. Also I will be interested in finding a decent tuning place in the sheff area.
