I'd be on high boost all the time ha, need to get some boost in mine soon, gotta be quick with 285 brake, does it run a lot of torque?
although i can see a faint white puff if i look when the sun is shining on it, is this normal?
Hahahaha, ill give you that one gherk! :up:Twist 'n' tape makes me the sparky I ain't!
Sure that's not a mirror?
Yes its arctic mate, a clay, a run over it with the d/a and some decent wax really gives it a nice wet look. The paint on that looks incredible! Is that arctic? Looks miles better than any I've seen before.
I really need to grow some balls and use a polishing machine. Too scared thoYes its arctic mate, a clay, a run over it with the d/a and some decent wax really gives it a nice wet look.
Thanks buddy.
If you get a d/a machine, its pretty hard to damage your paintwork with one unless you leave it in one spot for ten minutes while you're perving on the bird next door thats sunbaving in a bikini while shes reading 50 shades of grey.I really need to grow some balls and use a polishing machine. Which model have you got?If you get a d/a machine, its pretty hard to damage your paintwork with one unless you leave it in one spot for ten minutes while you're perving on the bird next door thats sunbaving in a bikini while shes reading 50 shades of grey.
Go for it mate, it really brings the paint up like new.
Might have to invest. A machine polish will cost me the same as the kit. So even a mong like me will be ok?I have the das pro 6, no way you will damage the paint. It stops before that happens.
With a rotary that may happen if not used correctly
Its not great tbh mate, haha.Just watch a few tutorials on youtube @Danith
There's no way you can mess up when polishing with a DA lol.
@Mr. Plums I need to find some time to read through your topic. The last few pages look pretty interesting :tongueout:
You will be fine mateMight have to invest. A machine polish will cost me the same as the kit. So even a mong like me will be ok?

Yeah apparently mega soft. Hoped I'd manage by hand but even after a couple if goes, in direct sunlight I can see fine scratches.Dead easy and enjoyable tbh. Get the right pads, compounds and away you go.
Honda paint is quite soft?? So I wouldnt get a too aggressive pad.
I am, just wish I had a well lit unit to do it in so I can do it properlyBlack is an ass. But if your into cleaning then a das pro is very handy to have
Its not puffing out oil mate, it smells like petrol, no oily smells. If it's puffing out oil then the bottom ends fcuked. What happens when you pull the dipstick out and take the oil filler cal off?

I didnt end up going for a compression test, just got back from trick or treating with the kids.
Theres mo smoke or oily smells out the exhaust either.
Not much happens when i take the filler cap off and the dipstick out.
If the rings are fucked i may take this route, then more boooost.Go forged, what could possibly go wrong

I like how you work on boats and use the word sailing, very fitting. :up:When a rod comes sailing through the bonnet, that's the time to start worrying.
Knees weak, palms are sweaty.
There's oil on his rocker cover already.
Engine's breathing heavy.
Good luck, no idea what a low C/R clio is.
