Will upload a pic of the spoiler fitted. Makes such a difference. Cheers spray shack!
Next major change is my half leather interior from a 172. They were in pretty poor condition. Stains and major bobbling on them. Got fronts seats, rear bench, front and rear door cards, parcel shelf for £120. Not bad considering the condition of them. Here's an idea of the state they were in.
So these stains were pretty much all over the front and rear seats.
And same scenario with the bobbling, front were worse than the rear.
Now I refurbed the seats and they have come up practically new! Proper chuffed.
So to remove the bobbles I used a "debobbler" bought off eBay for a fiver.
Proof it works
All of that was clearing bobbles off one front seat! At first I was a bit dubious but soon discovered you have to be forceful with the debobbler to get the job done!
Here's how they look after.
Now for those dirty stains. Looked up a couple of threads, found a Ferrari thread and a Honda type r thread and they suggested that "woolite" is the best stuff to use on alcantara. Ordered some off amazon.
First I wetted the seats with a microfibre cloth and water.
Then sprayed the mixture of woolite and water on in sections and lathered up into soapy foam on the seats. Left for 15 mins and then wiped off as much of the soap as possible. Remember to empty the water when it gets dirty.
Then left to dry, can be sped up if you have a electric heater or something along those lines.
Here's how they came out. Really impressed with them! Didn't expect them to come up as good as they did. Practically new apart from the minimal bolster wear on the leather!
Considering they were pretty much f***ked when I got them, I'm chuffed. Hours of hard work though!
Let me know what you lot think!
Mixed 4 cups of woolite with 4 cups of water and used a spray bottle to apply it to the seats
