so its been over a kerb and scraped the sump. i dont even know how much that would be to fix. hope they never ran it afterwards : s.

My dad still thinks that its going to be fairly cheap to fix. Its going on the jig on saturday then he's going to have a proper look and see what all the damage is.

Yeah I think it is, I remember my dad showing it to me on their website

Trophy has been on the jig, all ok now. Hopefully coming back on Thursday to start being repaired

Bumper, wing and side skirt are hopefully being sent in for painting this week. Sump has been welded up and back on the car. Been sent the wrong wishbone twice! So still trying to get hold of the right one. Also pricing up a drive shaft, front splitter, and looks like I might need 2 new wheels for the front.

you can get a Skoda splitter which is almost identical to the cup splitter for £13


please, please, please buy a genuine drive shaft.. all the non gen. ones I have seen fail after a few months of use!

Ermm put it back together, get the roof and quarter panel sprayed, sort out air bag management system, new wheel, then do the tracking and see if any damage has been done to the dampers.

Poor Trophy

It is currently being used as a door prop and a shelf for landrover parts

Also things are starting to be put onto the seats!! Does anyone know if the Cliosport seat covers will fit my seats?

Finally made some progress!!!

Panels sprayed and put back on the car

Going back to the bodyshop this week to have a few more bits sorted out

Bit of rust in the arch

Spent hours getting all the glue off the drivers side from the plastic sheet that held the door shut. Then gave it a quick wash

Also treated the Trophy to some carbon fibre
