Having just joined this forum to look at peoples projects i must say i'm really impressed, from the first pictures to those after the work and a wash its amazing. You really have done a top job and i am most honestly jelous

No more progress atm

Still at the bodyshop getting the last few bits sorted

Also I'm on a 3 month waiting list for a wheel, so probably won't be on the road anytime soon

I'll get some pics soon, just got a few more things to put back on it.

Tried to clean it up a bit at the weekend. Can't believe what a state the last owner had got it in. The seat belts are brown! Lol

Just been through all 5 pages, its come along way from how it was when you got it. good work.

I shall keep my eyes open for it as I kinda local and around ripley way sometimes.

On a totally different note, ive got a guy round here in a white 197 put everytimes sees me puts hands up and flashes, keep wondering if hes on here

Lol I don't know anyone with a white 197. Not really met many people yet as I don't like to turn upto things in the saxo lol

Trophy is all back together and went for it's MOT yesterday. It passed with flying colours! Going to clean it Sunday and get some pics. Hoping to then tax and insure it for the weekend after

Best thing to sort this is pull the belts out the car, shut them in the door and pressure wash them! They should come up like new!

Attempted to give the Trophy a good clean. Think i under estimated how dirty it was! Spent hours just cleaning the seat belts, wheels, windows and had to sponge down the interior. Then gave it a quick wash and aqua wax. Need to clay it really as there is looooads of tar spots on it. Sorry for the rubbish pics, need to get a proper camera. Its not anywhere near perfect but it will be on the road on Friday

Love thats its all back together and working.

You definatly need some better pictures to. Some carbon washer blanks would look mint on that to.

Gonna pay for the tax and insurance tonight then I can drive it on Friday! Need to swop my private plate over too.

I'll get a splitter at a later date. Run out of money now and need to just it on the road so I can sell the Saxo lol
