My first slr pics

I took full advantage of the christmas sales and brought a D40 with kit lens. at half price i also brought a sigma 55-200, 2gb memory card and camera bag. anyway, heres a few random pics taken since boxing day, any comments/methods of improvement/things to try will be appreciated!!

£299 for D40 + kit lens, £100 for 55-200 sigma lens, £15 iirc for camera bag (standard one which does the job but im looking at buying a crumpler pretty boy xl) , and cant remember what i paid for the memory card. this was from jessops, i found customer service there really is brilliant! love the camera, just got to master is features!

Alternative is the Nikon 55-200vr at £130 - really good lens and won best entry level zoom
