Apparently, In an accident they can compress the spine if they are mounted below shoulder level. Apparently.

I've read the same thing but then again what if you're impacted at the c-pillar? Would they be rendered useless?

looks great! cant even see any parking dents. how come the front wing and bonnet look a darker shade than the rest of the car? picture 7 shows this up more so than the other pictures.

Its had paint. I knoe the previous owner had the front end repaired/painted, as were the rear wings. Hence the tidyness of the car!!

Looks spot on Dan. Really do miss it And you're keeping extra good care of it! . Paint isn't exact all over as I did have the rear arches repaired a few months back, the roof is slightly lighter, but you only really notice if you get it in the light at certain angles. I've seen much worse though.

I think you should go for ITB's or turbo Dan lol, but a 172 conversion would be good and rapid if done profesionally

Whoever mentioned the carpet, yes I still have a roll in my garage. The ex cut it one day for me so it's not the tidyest job, but keeps the noise down.
