Forgot to add I also installed the 98ron performance map with the rs tuner today made such a difference to the drive of the car, loads more low down torque smoothed out the 5k "kick" and no more lumpy idle, the increased rev limit is also handy when your pushing on a bit on the b roads really chuffed with it :star:

yeah already replaced the box with a "no crunches and nice and smooth one" for it to be crunching into 3rd! have another one in the garage but its from a 53 plate 172 with no speedo sensor bit. And see with the RS tuner, can you only use one map at a time on the car?
I was bricking it when it was rewriting the ecu I was expecting the car not to start haha. I'll give you hand mate no bother it's actually really simple after doing tbh. Your gonna need the latest version of rs tuner if you want the pops & bangs map too then your asbo'd again ha.
Long overdue update.
So I fitted a Whitline arb to the car today not got any pics but I'll try and upload some over the weekend. Set it at it's hardest setting and went a blast up the back roads, nothing less than impressed by such a simple piece of kit. It's really tightened up the rear end near enough eliminated body roll all together highly recommended. Also got a BTB stealth system sitting in my garage waiting to be fitted at some point which I'm looking forward to.

Thats the plan yeah, up for it? He wants to asap, realistically I'm aiming for June but even that might be tight unless some mega cheap engine mounts come up for sale!
Well I've got a yellow powerflex dogbone bushes coming so its just the other 2. I'd like uprated but I'd take good 2nd hand ones. Mine are original and almost certainly contributed to the famous Crail snappage!

Painfull! guessing money will be decent for it though!

Lol Aye yours is screwed man it's like fuckin leather, passed its Mot yesterday no bother too.
Only problem I've got now is the service light and airbag light has come on ive plugged the resistor that came with the OMP boss in to the airbag plug but they are still on, don't know if I've plugged it in the wrong way.
