TRACK CAR BREAKING
As some of you know i already have a nicly modded Racing blue 182 ... was debating whether to turbo it or buy a megane 225 until i came across this little badboi!!
90% of people on here already know about the car so im not going to put the spec up ... but gave it a good clean and was today so took some pictures.... and a short video for people that wanted to here what the rs2 inlet sounds like..
and a short video
sorry its bad quality,, i will get a better video when i get the chance..
i have seen loads of arguments and debates about the rs2 so i thought i would chuck in my view!
the cost over all is about 1600 for the inlet, engine mounts and mapping..
at first i wasnt to impressed with the car as it felt alot slower than my rb 182..
but i noticed after driving 100 miles home with the car it wouldn't reach about 2/3's on the temp gauge and was limiting at 6000 rpm..
only way it will reach temp is to either thrash the car for a while or leave it to idle.. so after getting home i left it idling for 10-15 min untill it reached 1/2 temp..
took it for a spin up a few dual carriage ways and the car had total changed!! it pulled soo hard all the way to 7900 rpm..
the car drives alot nicer with the rs2 and has soo much more bottom end power .. pulls from 2000 all the way to 7900... instead of my 182 which pulls from 4500 to 7500..
if i wanted more power then i wouldnt bother going for the inlet tho,, but in terms of driving for everyday usage and its a totally different car and drives really nice!!
Im sorry to say but the silver clio is going to be put back to standard and all the parts are going to be going onto my RB 182
Over the next few months bits are slowly going to be moved from one car to another ... and i will be leaving the coil overs on and putting my trophy turinis.. my dad will then be having the car off of me
Let me know what you think
