Mystery Pipe!

Does anyone know what the arrowed pipe is for? It has been rubbing away under the air con pipe. It goes down the drivers side of the compartment and disappears down behind the headlamp and through the flat area behind it. Is it anything to do with the ABS as it seems to start at the inlet manifold area (seen just below the yellow spot(actually the brake fluid resevoir cap!))

that is the fuel vapour pipe that goes from the charcoal canister(behind the bumper on the o/s/f) to the inlet manifold.

Ah, thanks. So, I wouldnt want it to break then? Presumably if it does then it would mess up the greenness of the car? Where the red arrow is it has been worn away although it isnt all the way through yet, but now that Ive moved from its position under the air conn pipe it shouldnt wear anymore.

yes dont break it as it will cause an air leak on the inlet manifold.
