Is that brooklands green ? Not seen many aftermarket colours that suit the mk1. There used to be an imperial blue mk1 16v that looked good.

Only Brooklands green Mk1 in the country apparently,
he didn't tell the lad he bought it off he was changing the colour incase it upset him. lol

Matt brown has informed me there's two others knocking about. Ones has been restored ( take years to do ) and another is being broken for parts.

See what happens . After looking at the veriants of British racing green metallic ,, it's either going red of BRG metallic

BRG is quite a dull colour,
it's your car at the end of the day so you can paint it any colour you like,
I just think a nice red would look loads better.

Little update , got my landy 300tdi pump ready for it to have the head changed ( clearance issues with bonnet ) for a vw low profile version.

Comes with a 11mm head already , so that's going off to be sorted , already had a rebuild by carwoods diesels specialists, lucky no advanced roller munching had been going on, partly because this pump has NEVER been tampered with lol.
