was having a disscusion with a mate and he turned around and said "why dont you get nos on your 172" and i said that i though you had to play about with the internals of the engine so it didnt go bang and in the end probly wouldnt be worth it for the money anyway. then he said that you dont have to if you only have a 50 shot :S. not going to do it but was just interested to see if it is worth it or not.

you wont have to upgrade bits if you do it properly mate, get a progressive controller so it doesnt all come in with one hit, pm MATT BLACK he has run nos on a 172

Might be wrong but sure MATT BLACK ran a 13.5 quarter on a stock 172 engine with NOS?

yeah ive looked into this. 50 wet shot on progressive should be fine. It was the cost of refils that put me off. Searched a bit for cheap refils and bulk buying was the way forwards just never got round to working out what the end costs was going to be.
