Love the mandatory wheel out pose. I don't think I've seen a photo of your car with the steering wheel central, lol.

They're not even listing them on black circles/tesco tyres anymore! :S

But, Demon Tweeks are listing them in 195/50/15 for £76 a corner at the moment.

haha! I'd not really thought about the rear lights tbh; suppose some silvervisions wouldn't hurt.

I think water's getting into the nearside cluster actually, as the sidelight goes off when it rains! lol!

Hoepfully my Streamline and K-Tec orders will arrive tomorrow. Only 9 days until mapping now too!

Lambda sensor has arrived from K-Tec this morning.

I ordered it during the bank holiday and it arrived this morning; usual quick and high standard of service from their mail order side.

Hopefully my Steamline carbon delivery will arrive today too. I'm hoping it was also dispatched yesterday.

Also, I gave the base manifold and injector area a quick clean up this morning.

It's crinkle black VHT paint; available from ART restorers.

It's available in red too, which is what Dave used on his rocker cover.

It's good stuff; cheap and easy to work with too. 'cause of the wrinkle effect, the spraying doesn't have to be perfect.

Yes, mate. It was sprayed on the car.

The leads, coil pack mount, etc was removed and everything else was covered or masked, then the rocker cover was sprayed.

whats the general consensus on how your getting on with the rs2? has it been fitted long? any problems since? Reason i ask is i saw a clio on ebay with an rs2 fitted and knowing know that JMS are not trading wondered if i should go anywhere near it or not just incase something goes wrong with it?

It's a manifold, there isn't a lot to go wrong mate

The upper and lower inlets are removed; the JMS/Jenvey base manifold then bolts directly to the head, with the carbon air box enclosing the face of it.

There's no mechanical/moving parts as such, other than the standard TB further down the assembly.

I've had the intake on for about 6-7 weeks now and I'm really impressed by it; it's completely transformed the car imo.

Do you know whether it's had the revised 2011 manifold upgrade?

The original kit didn't have the bespoke JMS single piece base manifold; instead, it used a MR23 Jenvey base and spacers. The upgrade to the new design was offered free of charge for all existing RS2 customers, so hopefully it'll have been done on the car you're looking at.

Severely tempted by the Supersprint race system, being offered at an awesome price from Kam Racing. :evil:

Any experiences of this system? I don't mind loud, but I can't be doing with droney? I know the quality is right up there in the league of Yozza and BTB.
