OZ Racing Project (few pics)!

I recently picked up a set of OZ racing crono evo's in black for £70, but they desperatly need a respray! They're not curbed tho, just paint flaking off. so this is gonna be my DIY job for usc!

how i brought em:

so then i started sanding em down & priming:

currently sanding down the inside of the wheel & priming that too cause might as well...will keep you updated oh, they're going to be anthracite!

Nice! I was tempted to get some cheap alloys for my track wheels and then refurb them.

started on the insides of the wheels today. I know you're not going to really see them unless up close but might as well tbh as they werent in a pretty state!

I sanded them down with wet and dry so they were smooth and primed them

they were originally off a MR2, then onto a clio..
expect them to be off a evo though as they're called 'evo' and says 'Mitsubishi' on the back
(but i thought they had a pcd of 4x114)


and yeah Croxley Green is like 2 mins away, will keep an eye out for yours!

Ok, its been a while since i updated this because i've been on holiday

anyway, i went to halfords today & brought a can to start with of ford mecury grey paint and heres how one looks at the moment:

well my plan is to sand the writing bit down after and colour code it or maybe just a new sticker yeah. Need some for the centre caps anyway.

just to let you know that there is an ebay shop on ebay that sells custom OZ racing centre caps. Carbon centre caps with white writing etc.

Worth having a look fella, also contact ady from the forum to make some custom decals for the actual wheels

my suggestion would be, black centres, orange lips and the inside of the rim in orange

dont know if im gonna make it to usc now

after a blowout, hitting a curb and smashing my steering track rod & possibly suspension i think i'm gonna go up in my mates car. well gutted. but look out for the Cruise-Herts stand! Hopefully tho, it'll be fixed by next week...bit of optimism..
