Radiator fubared! tie rods got play in them while its in the workshop just doing few little bits and pieces for the mot. Sumps ok though

Thats what i did with my old car to get my sport. Was worth it, believe me!

How funny you should say that, I was considering luminous green RS writing as I was doing it and someone has just put up a link to a full set of hoses for the 1*2, but they don't come in green (yet), it'd be a good way to spend 150 though IMO. lol!

Plus i think i may just leave my bonnet closed as i fudged up the 2.0 16v decal positioning on the oil cap

Done similar to mine last weekend.

I had done the engine cover black gold but it never looked right next to the silver. Was planning on polishing the inlet but decided to do this intead. Quick rub down with some 80 grit paper then just used halfords primer, satin black and lacquer. Whilst the engine was warm so it dried within minutes.

Then just went at the lettering with 240 > 800 > 1200 > then some g3.
