172 Sunflower
Having issues getting the PH1 through the MOT on emissions. Got to take a look today and im quite sure everything is as it should be apart from the cat, measured the temperatures at each end and the left hand side is quite a bit cooler than on the right hand side. If i tap each side with a spanner the right hand side gives a nice 'ring' where as the LH side goes 'thud', not very scientific but my assumption is the LH side is clogged. Any ideas ? Car performs as it should but with bad mpg. Is my assumption correct ?
