I'm not sure mate, my 182 was totally standard with although it had both Cup packs, my 197 is totally standard. I personally would try and get a standard one or failing that on a black car the carbon fibre one that K-Tec do looks pretty sweet.

You'll want to make sure your alarm works and get a steering wheel lock too mate ;)

A fair number of them sem to go missing mate.. I know Swansea isn't as bad as it used to be, but it still has a pretty high car crime rate. (I went to uni there, all of my housemates cars got broken into except my Saxo VTR - but I had a Disklok and Clifford alarm/immobiliser so that might have helped?!)

The 182 has a CAT 2 immobiliser and a CAT 1 alarm so I wouldn't worry mate!
As for the splitter it's probably been damaged by the previous owner. They're pricey at about £170 brand new from Renault!

Enjoy the car tho mate! :rasp:

its not that bad to be honest mate, i've been driving 4 years, living in what used to be one of the worst areas for car crime and i've never had a problem! whereabouts were you living?

dont think i fancy paying £170 for one:eek: i'll have to have a look for some cheaper options lol

For my final two years I lived near the Uplands, on Marlborough Road, it was okay aroung there tbh. Most of the damage to cars was done by students anyway!lol

same car as me, enjoy.
again good luck on the splitter. Ive just bought a brand new one off ebay for the clio 182, except it seems it would fit a double decker bus better than my car. luckily got full refund so watch out if it reapears on ebay.

yeah i doubt i'll bother with ebay shite! i'd rather deal with a company i can go to face to face! is yours black gold mate or just black?

  Polo Gti . . 1.8 20v T
excellent cheers mate! yeah i noticed about the badge when i was down there today, im not all that bothered to be honest, i never was a big fan of the sport badge so i'm not bothered either way!

  197-I love!!!
K-Tec are the best, look good with your colour.I broke my splitter a year or so ago.I went to Renault, they were a silly price so I went to K-Tec,much cheaper and a lot better.Have a look at the website or give them a call. They're also great for servicing but that depends where you live.
