Nah you have to have the proof of purchase, the battery has to be under warranty, within the warranty period and you have to send them the specific label with a unique reference number they provide after they've approved an exchangeSo send a label to get a free battery?
Ok but as long as you buy a 12ah battery from a genuine seller you can get another free just lose the sticker on yours? 🤨 sounds a good deal tbhNah you have to have the proof of purchase, the battery has to be under warranty, within the warranty period and you have to send them the specific label with a unique reference number they provide after they've approved an exchange
I sent them a picture of the serial with that sticker since the serial is etched onto the battery casing
I had to provide proof it was buggered, nothing physical like I just told them it's not accepting charge and is flashingOk but as long as you buy a 12ah battery from a genuine seller you can get another free just lose the sticker on yours? 🤨 sounds a good deal tbh
Aye seems an easy way to be untruthful but I'm sure they only request the stickers from larger tools and batteriesUnfortunately I’m a blue man except a few 12v Red team.
But seems a pretty easy way to open yourself up to fraud.
Seen a thing if you hook it up to another battery it may or may not bring it back to life?I had to provide proof it was buggered, nothing physical like I just told them it's not accepting charge and is flashing
Seemed pretty easy to do tbh, try it🤣🤣
Tried it, didn't work🤣Seen a thing if you hook it up to another battery it may or may not bring it back to life?
Haha yeah it’s very top heavy without the battery.Very jealous! Your poor wrist looks like it's massively strained holding it sans battery 😂
PhysicsHaha yeah it’s very top heavy without the battery.
So actually easier to wield with the battery in. Even though it makes it heavier overall. If that makes sense?
well f**k.I man mathsed the hell out of this. Started by looking at a £20 Parkside rotary tool from Lidl, then looked at a £200 Dremel. Settled on a £60 Ryobi because it was an absolute bargain compared to the Dremel, decided to ignore the fact it was 3 times more than I was originally planning to spend 🙃

I actually identify as a female, but thanks. You could just be a real man and get a Milwaukee rotary tool..
Bare units range from £60 and that's a small price to pay to be accepted by other alpha males..
That's what poor c***s sayMilwaukee is just red ryobi anyway...
ExactlyThat's what c***s say
YesYou're both correct.
Milwaukee M12 rivet gun..
Anyone bought one? Any good?
Yeah got one in the work it’s great!Milwaukee M12 rivet gun..

I’m a Teal man really. But have a few bits of Red in stuff that they don’t make 😉Does it really matter...
Buy it anyway..
Lasts forever on a 6ah battery I assume as well?Yeah got one in the work it’s great!
It’s not something we use every day so I’d imagine yes it would last forever. Just depends how often you’re going to use it. The only thing I’ve found that really chews the batteries is the m12 die grinders.Lasts forever on a 6ah battery I assume as well?
Tbh I don’t need it, but had to do a job the other day where I used about 100 rivets and got bored very quickly of doing it manually! It’s not something we use every day so I’d imagine yes it would last forever. Just depends how often you’re going to use it. The only thing I’ve found that really chews the batteries is the m12 die grinders.
Anybody got a recommendation for a impact gun (battery) that’s not going to cost the earth but good enough for subframe bolts etc?
New mid torque would do it, could buy body only and then get a charger and a 5ah battery separately total of £265.

Got sick of buying Karcher/Nilfisk because they keep breaking.
So picked up one of these today and so far first impressions it is excellent, really well thought out design and plenty of power.
