No, the one on ebay is a car Paul bought from near me, fixed up and sold on

We didnt repair it - we sold it as salvage.

Hi again all,

This evening has seen quite a bit of frustration on the Williams front - replacing all the ball joints at the front turned into the usual nightmare (rusted to buggery) - now having to change both the tracking arms as well - I borrowed the removal tool from Renault....and upon undoing the second arm, it the tool disintegrated! So Ill have to wait to rebuild the front end....

I have to say the wheels are the thing that really get me at the moment - they look absolutely perfect against the blue, in the workshop light........

fuk me you must know your stuff about engine wise! what are you doing for williams transfers? im getting a set thru this week from ebay (copies) they look pretty exact, 12 quid a set which is not bad, its the ones with the outline ie u can see the paint colour thru the writing, ill post some pics and let yous see them

ball joints are a pain to replace aint they! we ended up just putting a whole new rack in instead of just doing the track rods - what an absolute pain! looking great mate - have got to admit those wheels are the nuts - proper good job on them!

Idle is interesting it wont idle below 1800rpm - mapping it this week at some point but i doubt it will idle any lower. Sounds magnificent......

All done now bar the mapping, brakes and torsion bar lowering......
