Theres a 5 gt for sale about 1 minute from my house, im so tempted, but at £1500 for an '89 reg and bodywork that would make you proud its asking a bit much i think.

Its been a well cared for car, lots of history, every MOT and Tax disc from new, drives really nice... shame it was left to rot for a few years

Rage.. You would need Mk2 clio base plates... but you neeeeeeeeed them mirrors TBH

I didnt realise the 5 had the same subframe width as a MK1? Are they really that similar then?

Its the same subframe ish... they just mount differently at to the front of the car... all will become clear when i get pictures up later in the project
