Quick service interval question for 182

I've always lived by the following schedule:

12k/1y
24k/1y
36k/3y (aux belt)
48k/1y
60k/1y
72k/5y (cambelt and aux belt)

Now I've seen that time and time again on here. I've even told people myself. But I only just noticed that my Renault service manual says 5y for the aux belt as well (still 36k). First time I've actually read it tbf... I normally go by heresay on here and properly "over service it".

Can anyone confirm this.

Cheers.

On a side note they also say 12k/2y for a regular service. Mental.

Ignore the Renault manual. Your schedule is correct and it should be done every 3 years. Most people would also recommend a oil/fitler change every 6k too.

Old post resurrection, but the service interval message in the first post is handy so i thought i might as well use this instead of start a new topic.

I'm just trying to find out when what services are due on the 182 i bought last month. It came with a massive pile of paperwork/receipts but most of them are a few years old now.

My current milage reads 91.220 miles.

The add of the car stated : Also cambelt replaced 60k with service Receipt, Looked after by Renault when new, Mark Fish Motorsport and Ren-o-Tec Essex, last service Done 86000 miles with the Original Renault Service Book stamped up.

Going through all the paperwork i can find this little green book from "the good garage scheme" which has 2 stamps from Ren-o-tec in it.

It was services at 58.462 miles (oct 2010) and at 70.750 (march 2012) with this receipt :

Not sure what interim means though.

I can't find any printouts or info from the service at 58.462 miles or the one at 86.000 miles mentioned in the add, apart from these stamps in the orginal renault servicing book :

Though it doesn't tell me what was done, apart from the air filter box being ticked.

And then in the same book under timing belts and pulleys i find this :

So my belts were done 4 years and ago over 32.000 miles ago and it has had some sort of service 7 months (6000 miles) ago.

So am i looking at doing the belts again soon, or any other kind of service ? I might email that MOT centre that's done the last service, just to ask what they done and if any belts were replaced.

Started a huge thread about this a while back, my manual says 5 years, and Renault thing that garages use say 5 years to, but CS says 3 years.

From what I can tell:

Next full service is due at 98,834 miles or 19/10/15. Judging by the previous history I would get the spark plugs changed at the next one (should be done every 72k). Also many recommend a simple oil & filter change every 6k as an interim.

Cambelt is next due at 22/10/2015 or 130,462 miles. The only thing that concerns me is a lack of information about an aux belt kit change. It should have been last changed during the cambelt service. This would mean it was due for changing on 22/10/2013 or 94,462 miles.

Based on the above I would get a full service, aux kit & spark plug change (circa £325)

Oh the service intervals are 12k/2years according to Renault. But CS says yearly.

and my understand if there is no 24k, 48k service etc. it's just another service, that's required since the last 12k/2 year service.

Hi all, apologies for opening an old thread.

I bought my Clio last February, it's got an excellent service record and the aux belt, dephaser and cambelt were done last Feb by AM Performance.

The oil was also changed at the same time at 52,385 miles on 16/2/20, it's coming up to just under 60k as of today.

I'm going to get the oil changed again in March as it's due an MOT next month, I'm not expecting it to fail but I'm going to hang fire on its next service until the following month.

On the service manual, the plugs and Air Filter were last changed on 28/2/13 at 34k, will these need doing when it goes in for a service in March? Can see above that someone has posted plugs don't need doing until 70k?

I was contemplating getting a full service done which is going to be around £220 according to my local Independent specialist but if I can get away with just an oil change for now, then a full service next year then this would be ideal.

Cheers
