Racing Blue detail/cleaning kit?

  RB 182 FF
Hey guys,

Having had my Rb for a week now, I really need to get to grips with keeping it pristine

so I need some help getting some kit together so far I've got/ordered

2 buckets with grit guards
dodo juice born to be mild
lambs wool mitt
i4d drying towel

I have some light swirls but nothing major, what I need to know is what to get now to get the optimum by hand for RB paint cleaners/polishes/glazes/waxes/sealers? (as I'm new to the detailing lark any help would be most welcome) :S

thanks in advance :)

Do you want to be rid of the swirls totally or would filling them be an option? I use 3m pad and polish of various grades when doing correction work via a rotary. I do have some waxes and cleansers for sale in the sale section and the auto glym stuff I have may well be right up your street

It all depends on what condition the paintwork is currently in and also the condition you'd like it to be in?
No point throwing loads of money on various products if for instance you are just wanting to keep it 'clean' and protected
If I were you I'd buy some clay and lubicant then get a half decent cleanser like Lime Prime as it's fairly cheap and does the job. Then really you just need to get a decent wax and some microfibre cloths.

Oh and you should receive the touch paint kit anytime now unless you have already received it.
