Renault and Ford by night.

Went out the other night with Rhys and Jon taking some photos of the cars, bit of a drive around Manchester saw us stop in Stockport and in Knutsford over the M6 for some light trails.

Crop of the light trail shot that I quite like:

Some of them have a shadow of my tripod in them, how would the PS gurus get that out???

As always C&C welcome on the shots :)

How did you not notice the shadows when you were setting up haha!

I knew they were there, but there was only one spotlight on in the estate, and that was the only decent background, so I had no choice.

At the time I thought, I'll sort it later, didn't think how much work might be involved

Any thoughts on how you remove that? I can do some stuff, but that's getting pretty technical!

Some great pics, the light trail one is the best.

You can use the clone tool or the spot healing brush tool with content aware, both great tools in Photoshop.

The blurring is very off putting for me. Either learn how to use f-stop or tone it down when you're post processing. Also match the blurring in the side windscreens.

Car looks nice though, and I still miss my Zetec-S so that has a place in my heart too :)

Great photos, but ruined by that silver turd heap.

Don't you start!

Nice pics. Need to do all mine really. Will do them tonight :)

To edit out the tripod I'd use the spot healing tool, then once it was looking like the above use content aware fill (I just drag boxes over the area press delete and then click the content aware button and it usually fills it well.
