Can you not wiggle the wires under the seat? That sometimes causes them to come on when they are moved forward and back.

Don`t use those 27mm replacements for the 17mm nut & top hat spacer.
Unless Renault have finally corrected them, they will become thread bound on the damper rod a long way away from making contact with the bearing.

Unless Renault have finally corrected them, they will become thread bound on the damper rod a long way away from making contact with the bearing.

Hmm when i called RPD i asked them about this and they said all the specialists order that one so that's why i went for it. I can always supply and see what they reckon. I might give Kev from Armstrong a call today and see what his prices are like and being in Luton it's very handy.

Spoke to Kev at Armstrong today and he gave me a very good price on all the work so the car is going to be booked in with him for 3rd July, that's when things will get interesting. Only thing he can't do is set it up so i will have to take it elsewhere for that. Should be getting alot more deliveries today and tomorrow so expect some pictures later

Speaking to Kev he is going to re wire my seat as well so that should resolve the airbag light. Need to get a gas soldering iron as my s**t electric one takes for ever then i can fix the rear light Might even give her a little scrub tonight, i realised most of the pictures on here are part of the car or just parts in general ha.

Trust me to have the least desirable Clio haha, the wheels came like that on the car it wasn't my choice. I'm hopefully going to get some new wheels soon.

No picture update. Received my injectors from @cs_dave during the week. Decided to have a go at fitting them today. All went well was a bit of a pain getting them back in, but took her for a spin afterwards and seems a bit smoother and better throttle response so bit of a result.

Next week will be when all the suspension work happens so expect some good updates Looking forward to getting it all done. I'm a bit torn at the moment because i really fancy a 200 with a meg lump in, hmm...

Lol well its always a case of wanting rather than needing. I really shouldn't be looking at getting a new car as there isn't really anything wrong with mine, not that it has stopped me in the past. That's how i ended up with this one in the first place haha.

Basically if i keep mine i will want to get new wheels and tyres, rebuild the box and stick a diff in with all the rest of the parts then maybe turbo so that's at least 5/6k. Could buy this particular car for a little bit more, although it would mean i have to get a loan etc. Ahhhhhh decisions decisions.

Always best to avoid big debt if you can mate if you need a loan, my attitude would be you know this car and are slowly making it into a really nice spec, would be starting from scratch again with a new one that's all........... like mine, if I turbo it in the future (very unlikely) that'll cost around £3k. There's a turbo'd arctic on eBay right now for 3k so could just buy that and sell mine. In theory. But i'd rather keep mine as I know it and how mint it is. If you get me!

I think i may have an answer to my question, i have cancelled the suspension work for next week and i will be returning the majority of the parts i have purchased. The car will still go into the garage to sort a few odd jobs and i will get an MOT on it next week hopefully and then stick it up for sale. This could be the end of Rojer's 182 and the start of something new! Scary times at the moment as i could be leaving my job soon so not really the best time to be buying a car, but hey why not? You only live once make the most of it i say lol.
