Cheers Tony. Had quite a successful season with the car, only a couple of niggly teething problems, handling and stopping well, so on with the stonking motor for next year. Getting the hang of the thing towards the end of the year as the seat time increased, every run scarier LOL!

EJ22 block with a stroker crank to give 2350cc, GT36 turbo, 850 injectors, GT cams, WRC big valve head conversion, RCM semi equal length headers. Expected to make 480BHP relaibly, with 500lb/ft torque.

Seriously impressed with your skills. I thought the Qashqui R was a monster but this betters it. Are you a mechanic. Perhaps you need to advertise your car more. I'm sure skills could be used in motor sport or other serious tuners.

Off to pick up the new engine from Enginetuner this morning, much excitement. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, new turbo has arrived, together with the injectors, so I have started to assemble the inlet manifold, which is several hours work on an Impreza engine. Also found time to wrap the exhaust manifold with some sexy blue wrap to match everything else.
Picked up the engine this morning. Love the work on the ports...

First start up of the new engine......
And loaded up ready to be mapped at Enginetuner today....
On the dyno at Enginetuner this morning. Slight disappointment as mission aborted at 0.7 bar boost due to a slight misfire on one cylinder. Pretty sure I know what the problem is but it's looking like it will be a stonker of an engine!
Gutted for you, i hope you get the problem sorted soon, looking forward to seeing what she does. Are you going to have a base map first to bed the engine in? or going for maximum warp speed straight away? Fantastic car btw.

Morning guys. As it's a race car we will be running it on the dyno for a while to get the rings bedded in, then just going for it. Won't be run in for any extended period with a low map.
Will be at Llandow for a first shake down on the 14th March too.

Very little left to do now, just some odds and ends. Testing at Llandow next weekend, then Newquay AC Treloy sprint 5th April first event, then Llandow trackday, then Werrington, then Wiscombe, then St. Goueno, then..........

Got the bonnet back from the paint shop today. Pleased with the new more original and better fitting look.
Looks 200% better with the correct fitting bonnet
