Should a rebuilt F4R engine (RS200) eating oil after run-in?

People who know knows. I am not an unresonable person but didn't expect to get a faulty engine paying that amount of money
The thing is, people make mistakes. It’s just part and parcel of being a human being. But not everyone seems to be able to own their mistakes, and it’s how mistakes are rectified that shows the kind of human you are.

Be very wary letting someone else touch the engine before sending it back, as that more than likely will totally void the warranty, as right now they say there isn't an issue, very easy to switch blame.

I'd only use someone else should the problem not get resolved, you won't be able to visually see the issue without a certain amount of strip down.

I accept people make mistakes but throughout the whole experience, I felt like not being treated as it should be. There are details I don't wish to expose yet.

I understand peoples respect of garages so as not to stain their reputation. But can we please agree, this f**king sausage at Beaniesport needs outing as a c**t?

As a collective - and quite frankly - amazing forum, owe it to ourselves and new members to out this f**king chode smoking ferret that needs swerved like me on Tinder circa 2012-2016?
I think often people don't want to call out the garage as they don't want them catching wind of it through a forum before the issues been resolved.

Definitely churning out some terrible work though

Aye they are f**king throbbers. And it stuns me that they’re still advertising their retardation.

Did @Sheilas’ Wheels get his issue sorted with them?

Seem like a bunch of cowboys from some posts on here.

Hopefully you get something sorted and they fix it, but prepare yourself for a long wait.
My mates and I have decided to join CSF 2025. Hopefully, my Clio will be ready in time. Looking forward to meeting everyone there! 😞

Being to gentle on a new engine can be as bad as ragging it to death
You need a little load when running in a engine
Other wise the bores go glazed
We get this a lot when people over size their generators and don’t load them up enough
And it glazes over the bores and you get the engine burning oil
Sometimes if you catch it soon enough and load the engine up it slowly stops burning oil

I don't believe it's a new engine though, existing engine that's allegedly been rebored I think.
