like i said my mate had them in his r5 turbo and his car failed the mot because of the seats as they are fia approved and fia approved seats are designed to be used off road and not on road to be road legal seats subframes and harnesses have to be ecc approved if you check on demon tweeks they clearly state about seats harnesses and subframes which are fia approved are not road legal and you will find that cobras which are side mounted are fia approved
