Sign of leaking Shock Absorbers??

the rear of my 182 has been feeling really rough and bumpy recently, to a point where u can feel every slight imperfection on the road... is this a sign of leaking shocks? coz im pretty sure it wasnt normally this bumpy... anywyas ive taken a pic of each side, any help would be wicked :D

edit: just gotta find a reliable place to upload...

Just udue one side at a time and bouce the rear end, will be like a pogo stick if it's broke.

how easy are they to change? i spose as theres no coil around them, no tensioning or anything needed so can just unbolt from top and bottom and change, correct?

bugger my mac doesnt seem to like any of the uploading websites that come up on google, including photobucket and image shack damnit :(

basically, there is signs of oil on both shocks not loads, but i can see a darker wet looking patch on both of them.

but when i open the boot and push the rear down, it doesnt seem to bounce around uncontrollably :S

DrRollo- any specialised tools required? or is it just a certain sized socket??

sounds like they are both gone, as i say very common. 16mm socket where it bolts to your axle. and take the rubber bit off the tops in the boot. not sure what size it is up there. you need some mole grips as well to hold the top of the shock.

ah sweeet, well i got molegrips and 16mm socket so thats all good.

i think its coz when i got the car back last year, 1 of the shocks went, but as the garage was stingey, they didnt want to change both sides, so just changed the 1 shock, which i assume would have lead the other side to go aswell?
