Steering Wheels (Snappy Ones)

I've had my steering wheel re-trimmed.
Needless to say I am extremely happy with the results.
I asked for the following:-
Black leather
Perforated leather thumb grips
Alcatara bottom section with the Trophy logo embroidered onto it.
held together with silver stitching.

No more sticky melted steering wheel for me, just smooth soft leather!

That's a cracker mate, the trophy logo is a great touch!

Thanks, I am not a fan of the top dead centre marker, or anything too far from the original, but I liked the look of the Trophy logo on others so I thought it would be a nice touch. There are no identifiers in the cabin to let you know you are in a Trophy, so I thought I would add one.

It's leather, as long as you look after it, it will last as long as a looked after leather steering wheel. :wink:

Regards the wear, ive had one on my 197 for over three years, looks as good as the day i picked it up

Cheers mate, I genuinely often wish I had a blue one, black is hard work with the swirls etc! Yours is a nice example though, love that f**king turbo. Jealous isn't the word!

From what I've seen his it's his stitching that's worlds apart. Perfect all along, while other wheels I've seen redone (not only here) come nowhere close. Think I might be sending him three wheels...

Turbo Steve there is a guide in the guides section which is members only on how to remove the steering wheel. The £12 membership is well worth the dough if you plan to get a Clio.

Received my second Snappy wheel back today. Perfect as expected, very happy! Top guy to deal with. Postie also delivered a cup spoiler which I paid just £41.00 for (£55 with postage) It's in great condition so well happy at that price! Bargain!!

I've had my snappy wheel fitted on my car for just over a year and it still looks as good as they day it got delivered. Perforated leather thumb grips and bottom section with silver stitching. Very pleased with it and would defiantly recommend getting it done.

Thanks @snappy - exactly what I wanted, nice and simple.

My spec was: leather all round, perforated leather thumb grips, suede/alcantara bottom section (to match a pillars), dark silver stitching to match my silver writing on airbag strips etc.

Im sending my Sabelt off to him in a few weeks. Im having black perforated leather all round and a blue alcantara top strip. Looking forward to it!

Ive just seen that royal don't 'double up' when fitting alcantara?
