the wheels are a tough one. sometimes i think i should have kept them silver, but in real life they're not as dark as they are in the photographs and are more a 'metal' type colour and look the dogs danglies.

do you get probs with that front plate as i might do it looks sweet can you get 3 points for it?

fapping gorgeous... the wheels look great in black now its lowered.... looking good and glad you got all the hassle at the end of last year behind you now :)

mark - jam some siliscon hosing or hose pipe or something in to the exhaust mount then put a bolt through it - this will lift it up temporarily. the new mounts are crap anyway and itll do the same thing! my old prospeed was jammed with bits of pipes and cable ties etc to take the flex out of the mount

looks really good - are you gonna paint the door handles.

I liked you comment about about not putting a phase 2 bumper on as its not a phase 2 - just out of interest which model exactly did you get the rear lights from???? lol!

Looking good mate.

Like others say. Forget the mounts. Get under there with cable ties and pliers and do it DIY style! lol

handles are getting done sometime in the next week, i just had the bodyshop do the sides so i could judge how good he was. and to be fair hes done a fairly decent job for pennies :)

as for the exhaust mount i found that if i lift it by hand to where the mount should sit, the exhaust sits absolutely perfectly so going to have to get ghetto and jam something under it to stop it falling.

and timsclio172 - thanks for the samco elbow. got it this morning and looks minty mint :approve:

Looks gorgeous now mate! Think the ride height is spot on TBH, how I'd like mine to be if I ever get her back, lol

Re the exhaust mount, use a bit of floorboard, works wonders ;)
Although, With wedging things in to take the flex out of the mount it's cracked the weld on my backbox where the arm that holds it in the mount goes too so bear that in mind!

thanks for the comments. spent most of today hunting round work for something flexible to put in the mount, but am currently looking at using a combination of a bolt some bolts and a couple of washers lol

would put a ph-quick sticker on, but it really isnt at the mo.

i'm that sad i've already allocated what stickers will be going where, and you cant comment as you havent got a yellow one

lovely car dude, lovely colour.

prob the only other colour i would trade my exclusive for.

only gripe is the exhaust. im a big symetry fan so that makes me feel on edge. haha, that just my opinion though so dont take any notice.

sorry all you ph2172 and 182 owners but this model is the daddy. phase 1 all the way..... :rasp::rasp:

:D

lol agree with the ph1 is the best comment ;)

as for the exhaust with a car like this looks arent everything. The sound is immense, workmanship top notch and makes the car feel smoother which is the reason why i chose this system. And to be honest only needs a new exhaust mount to get it sitting spot on
