Sunstrips...

Car  Mustang, S13, AX GT
Ok whilst mostly they look gash they serve a purpose, I am sick of the sun creeping through the gap between the visor and the rear view mirror blinding me so I need a sunstrip. Can any-one recommend a decent place to get this done? Last time I tried it has more air bubbles in it than a scuba divers training pool.
Cheers

i got rudely told to take mine off by police.. funny enough it was the day i was gona take it off anyway, as my car was gona go the next day lol

just checkd up on this an you allowed a sunstrip aslong as it does not come down any further than what the sunvisors do, ie im going to borrow the ones from me mams 4x4 for a while.

I had an interior one fitted last Tuesday as i was fed up with the sun between the visors, was limo tint and you could choose how deep you wanted it, mines quite shallow about 3-3.5 inches, but works a treat.

mine was done at Mike Stokes Motorsport in Poole, Dorset, but any window tint specialist/fitter will be able to do it in about 15 mins. Mine was £35. I'll post up a pic tomorrow.

do it yourself, window cleaner, lint free cloth/rag, credit card and a stanley blade. piece of piss

been there, done that, got a pro to do my window tints lol

im gonna go get one at some stage to suit the tint of the screens border (black bit that runs round the screen)

Here are the pics of mine, happy with it apart from the small air bubble near the driver side. Still better than if I'd have done it myself.

ooh, £35 is a bargain IMO. I've tried it myself and nearly burst a blood vessel in rage trying not to get air bubbles in it...

Certianly is, I tried it myself 1st and had is 90% done then saw a hair, lifted it off to take the hair away then had loads of air bubbles so i ripped it off, went off on one an throw it in the bin, that was £20 wasted.

I did an outer one on my old car and that was fine, the interior clio one was a pain in the ass. Much happier to pay someone £35!!;)
