Supercars at Goodwood today

Popped down to this today. Basically twice a year Peter Saywell, multimillionaire owner of RF Saywell aircraft spares company, hires Goodwood and brings out a few of his supercars from his vast collection, and a few fellow supercar owners bring their motors along as well. It's all done for charity and you pay for a ride of a few laps of the Goodwood Circuit.

Unfortunately not, i would've love to but to be honest i'm not sure how you went about purchasing a ride, it looked to me like a lot of people may have almost pre-booked them.

Lol, unfortunately not, i did see the actual owner in the paddock, he's on pistonheads a lot under the username diablo_pete. I think he's got 2/3 other Diablos in addition to that one.

You get replicas with old number plates on too, a real one is worth a silly amount, probably £500,000 at least.

GT40 is a rep' as far as i know, a very good one though.

Yeah all the AOG plates are the ones owned by Mr Saywell, he also definitely owns the Koenigsegg and i think the DBS.

yea the gt40 is a rep its got a bubble on the drivers door so taller people can drive it. the original never had this. also believe is got a cobra v8 in it not the original ford. bloody nice tho seen it up there many times with all the rest of the gt40's when they hold there owners meetings.
