Every MX5 I see recently is driven by some melty neck beard with massive spacer holes in their ears and a cloud of vape pouring out to cover up the exhaust smoke from the 6" pipe out back.

Wife surprised me on our usual trip into town on Saturday by dropping in to a little car show being run in Exeter.

It was pretty cool albeit quite small, didn’t get there until late afternoon and think most of the outside cars parked up there had gone but still nice stuff inside.

Plus timed it well as after having a nose around the stuff inside they all started up and drove out which was cool to see.

Only other downside was the slight smell of animal s**t as it was held in the livestock market

They did have an actual 1993 Benetton Schumacher F1 car that they started up…

My wife had to do the video of that whilst I wrangled with our 4 year old, hence the low angle, and not sure how well phone captured the sound so could be high on 2 minutes of boredom to watch it.

Oh and F series M3/M4s just sound awful to me, the tuned ones like red M4 in the second video exemplifies what they all seem to sound like, just gun shots with no nice exhaust tone. The TT RS whilst quiet compared to most even sound better imho.

I had a family holiday to Italy last week and managed to seek in the Ferrari museum Modena. Seen loads of fezza's but this was one of the more rarer ones. Sadly no F40's although they had the F40 engine on display
