The Impreza picture and discussion thread

Massive difference on mine !!

Front and rear - standard droplinks.

Oh good. Been offered one which I think is near new for £60 with the uprated drop links. Think he has an anti lift kit too. Ideally want to fit them by next weekend before the trackday at oulton :)

so whos the lucky new owner of the type r? how come you got rid of the scoob? running costs?

Yes it was costing a heck of a lot to run and I fancied trying something different, I've had quite a few 90s jap performance cars now. I fancied something lighter and more chuckable........so here I am. The lad I did the deal with is called Adam, lives in Cumbria, not sure if he's on this forum.

see u took some of the good stuff off the type r before u sold it. i was interested in the type r saw it on scoobynet.

well you've certainly got something more chuckable and that costs f**k all to run! enjoy the trophy!

drove past the sonic blue classic on my way to work again this morning, looks immaculate, not helping my urge for a classic at all!!

That blue, 3 doors and those wheels in that colour. Looks great

Still want a blob though!

besides the obvious such as pistonheads/autotrader/ebay and scoobynet where else is a good place to find some nice examples for sale? are there some specialist dealers in these types of cars?

post them up please, for the near future reference ;)

hurst cars in bedford are a subaru specialist who has some nice cars, type r's etc. iv been scouring the net for weeks on all of the above waiting for the perfect classic to be advertised, missed out on a lovely rb5 which had just been sold couple of weeks back. used to be loads of nice ones for sale not anymore. now is the time to buy as well they are proper bargains atm but as they are getting harder to find nices ones the prices will go on the up in the next couple of years IMO. ill keep looking though and i will find one!

i wish people wouldnt stick p1 splitters and spoilers on uk turbos, ruins them for me. and i couldnt run a daily with a roll cage in it as id look a massive t**l. my last one was mica red, wouldnt buy another one.

Keep an eye on 22b.com also.

not seen that one, will go and have a nosey

Subaru swop shop on Facebook
