I'm new to this tool malarky, I wanted a good kit to get me started. It started with just one set and now have a toolbox that's half empty still... But i'm working on sorting that out lol.

Why do diesels have such large oil capacity
I mean I suppose it's better than the 12 litres you need in a 4BT
My dads mate learnt very quickly that buying a Euro car parts drum of oil for his defender was cheaper than buying 3 bottles of oil every time

It's because they have a lower sump and an upper sump

I've not worked on one either haha, just know about them.
Done a few bits on a mates C63 AMG.
The best I get is to work on an STI. I can tell you they're so f**king easy to do a service on, why other manufacturers don't make it that easy annoys me

Back on thread, I got these aviation spanners for my birthday a few weeks ago and theyre worth their weight in gold. So much easier than messing about doubling spanners up

Made myself a new tool today
@J-J donated some 20mm plate so I could make this
Its heavy enough to where it squashes s**t. After this picture was taken I managed to get another 4 full mower baskets worth of grass in there So now I can leave that in there for weeks and whilst the foliage is decomposing and it continues to squash it further and further down the bin. I've got a 1 tonne bag full of clippings after removing 3 small shrubs/saplings today.
Saves me getting in the bin and jumping about like a melon
