Looks pretty good... not sure why you've left the inner door skins and other pointless metal in though!
I thought Time Attack was for 3000bhp Subarus?
Looking good mate!
Looks like I might be up scotland with you before fcs nice long drive for us both!
^if you're a caveman
spot heat it, then blast it with compressed air
Get that exhaust over to cam coatings

time attack have a N/A class aswel. N/A means normaly aspirated if anyone needs to know.
same differnce lol
Matt if your on the rallye register ask mankee about ceramic coating his old manifold cost him about £60 he said.
had a couple of other bits turn up too....
Time Attack states you must run at least a hand held extinguisher, but i felt more comfortable with a plumbed in system, so if there was an engine bay fire i could put it out rather than stand back and watch the thing go up in smoke!
complete with internal and external pulls
Tubing and connectors allows system to do engine bay in 2 places plus passenger and driver foot wells.
182 Manifold came a little while back, so gave it a clean ready for wrapping.

ah right cool! Havent spoken to Mankee in ages!
dont suppose you could fire him a pm and ask him for me?
saves me trying to re-register on there. no worries if not mate.

Those extinguishers arn't very good i'm afraid; they arnt really designed to stop the car going up, just to damp it down enough for you to get out.
AFFF extinguishers are just like soapy dish water really
back to the last page, 95% of 182 exhaust manifolds are "dented" like that to miss the antiroll bar under hard throttle and launch etc! They clear the roll bar that way!
oh and matt, can i take them carbon fog surround off ya hands??
If heard people say they have set their AFFF extinguishers off by accident, and all it did was dribble out
The most important thing for the AFFF ones is the correct placement, aiming and installation of the nozzels, else they loose most if not all of their effectiveness.
It's typical, Halon extinsguishers were banned because they are bad for the ozone; but i'm guessing their not as bad as the whole car going up, which is definitely happening more now
I am probably going to try one of the Lifeline Zero 360 ones in my car, it's a gas discharge one rather than AFFF so hopefully it will stand more of a chance.
