Tinted windows for my black 182?

Had a quick look and couldnt see a thread on tints.

I fancy tinting the rear windows in my black 182.

What do you guys think about tinted windows? Tacky? How Dark should I go, if i do it at all? Would you do the rear screen aswell?

Any pics of cars already tinted?

Let me have your opinions, I dont mind if you think they look sh**e.

imo limo black are far to dark and more so on a black car will make it look like a van, id go for a light to medium smoke around thats wot im doin wen i get the cash and mines a black 172

Yep i will be honest i was thinking a light tint as i didnt want it too obvious they were done.
Wanted it to look as if it could come with them as standard.

Is it easy to do yourself? Or would you def go to a specialist?

I would say light.

If you go really dark it's not just tacky, it screams chav :dead:

My black 1.2 has lightly tinted windows done by renault. They look good.

Might be worth photoshopping different levels of tint to see what colour you prefer.

if there smoked then go for it but not too dark.......black cars and limo black tints dont go........

limo black tints and blue cars go.

i think that they are pretty hard to do to get all the bubbles out and that but it can be done just take your time.

but i paid £150 for front and back in a mirrored tint in my old 106 QS

oh and get the back done it will look stupid if it aint

i have limo tints at the rear and backsides, and dark smoke on the front sides, my cars red so i think the black on red theme looks good
