Went to Florida again recently to pick up some more engine parts for my Dad from Titan Motorsport as it's a lot cheaper to get them out there than over here.
Picked up an 4 piece pulley set, aluminium spark plug cover amongst other things

Also whilst I was there I was offered the chance of a tour of the garage so couldn't turn that down, here are the photos!

Haha, was in Florida anyway with Friends so it made sense to pop by and pick parts up, had a struggle getting it all in my suitcase for the way back though :-S!

I work for a local Council and my dad owns his own engineering company.

Thanks a for the comments guys.
Haven't got any photos yet but weekend just gone, most of
The interior went back in,
This was all boot area complete, rear quarters,
Front doorcards, dashboard and centre console, all the interior has been covered in real leather with an orange stiched edge so it's more modern looking than original plastic, will get a few photos in the next few days.

At the moment engine wise,
The turbo housings/turbo pipes/cam covers & intake manifold have just finished being mirror polished and we are working on the waste gates/oil return and pick up/plumbing of the turbo system at the moment making sure nothing catches on anything,
It's taking a while but has to be right.
Will get photos in the next few days.

Thanks

Oh you big tease. Much appreciation here. I've been on the eye for these, nothing quite on this level of plans but just a lightly tampered one would keep me grinning from ear to ear on a Sunday. I think these were designed to not age until they clocked a century

@drjekyll reminded me about this thread as I totally had forgot!
The supra is not far from being done.
Due to the car being 20 years old he decided to buy brand new wire and plugs from the states (as you can't buy a new complete loom from toyota anymore) to make a whole new engine loom as the old one looked abit tatty and the plastic plugs could have broke at any time.

So the engine loom is pretty much complete and finished now and ready to be fitted to the engine and then we can connect the Syvecs s6 ecu to it as well.
Once it is we'll dropping the engine into the car.

I'll try and get some photos this coming Saturday.

Just read the whole thread, if you dont mind me saying that looks FUKCING EPIC!!! Subscribed too!

With the transmission, what made you stay with the Auto? or was it so you can use the flappy paddle?

  Track 172 Cup
Same as above lol just read the whole thread (so wanted to skip to the end to see where its at lol) but what a lovely build wish I had somewhere (plus the skill/cash/time) to do something like this with my dad.

Exciting stuff, who's going to be doing the mapping on this beast?
Thanks mate, Ryan from Syvecs will be mapping it.

My dad did think about converting to Manual, but it's a bit of a pigs ear of a job, and the 6 speed Getrag boxes aren't cheap, you have to cut the transmission tunnel as it's an auto and didn't really want to do that, when we heard the flappy paddle was an option it was a no brainer to do that.

Few more bits done to the car recently - my dad found a company that makes real leather covers for most of the interior panels, the standard ones are just a grey plastic - very 90's.
Once the covers arrive you have to use fabric glue and stick them to the current panels.
Here are the photos they aren't the greatest; the new covers are real leather with orange stitching;

The engine loom is now being fitted to the engine and routing it around the engine to find the best possible place for all the wiring, this photo is holding the loom

Got some more things done to the car recently but not many photos.

The down pipes from each turbo have been wrapped in titanium heat wrap.

Oddysey race battery has been bought and fitted, had to get a small battery as it is now located behind the rear seat and space is limited.

Front mount intercooler has been sprayed matt black and fitted too.

Throttle cable has been attached to pedal and through the bulkhead and now in the engine bay.

Bought some new black carpet and cut this too shape as it is the boot carpet covering the spare wheel, fuse box, battery and abs pump which are all located behind the rear seat now so the carpet is fitted and hides it all.

The new retrimmed rear seats have been fitted;

The gearbox has been cleaned/degrased and painted in aluminium paint:
e3ae0d5edacee5324ee891244de6231e.jpg

The engine is ready to be dropped in now, so that will be done in the best week or two.
Once in the car will be transported to Haywood and Scott exhaust specialists to have the Y Pipe of the downpipes enlarged from 3 inch diameter to 4 inch and then a V Band fitted then that can be attached to the Boostlogic exhaust my dad already has.

Once exhaust is all done, the car is being booked in for Mapping with Ryan from Syvecs.
