Whats the purpose of this car?Another update, Car's been booked in at Haywood & Scott Exhausts on Monday 24th August, to have the Y Pipes enlarged (they are fully booked before then), as the car can't be driven there yet because it's not mapped, and it can't be mapped until the exhausts have been finished, means Dad and I will have to hire a flatbed van/lorry and transport it there, luckily its only 15 minutes up the road.
So now we have a month to finsh off all the other jobs;
Like interior going back in, Intercooler pipework mocked up and fitted, Air filters, plumbing everything in such as coolant system and power steering, connecting the loom and ECU now the engine is in, amongst other jobs.
The mapper Ryan from Syvecs only needs 2 weeks notice, so once the exhaust is done it will be mapped after, probably looking at early-mid Septermber.
Ta
This is very impressive!
Are both you and your dad from mechanical back grounds??
Whats the purpose of this car?
Will it be driven on the road, purely a show car that's never unleashed, track?
That was going to be my next post! Good to see this will be used properly Enjoy fella.Will mainly be driven on the road mate, along with some shows and also the 1/4 mile at Santapod.
Not just a show queen, no point doing all the engine work if it was just for shows lol.
Thanks
