Track Pads for the Rear??

  Ph1 Clio 172
What does everyone run/recommend? With the work rate of the rears being so much lower I'm struggling to justify spending a load of money on pads for the rear axle. Would rather save money here and spend more on the front set.

Currently thinking:

RC5+ (are these really neccessary?)

The cheap ass Omp pads on ebay - The friction graphs look good (more than adequate for the rear) but £23 for a set of pads made by people who make nomex suits massively puts me off.

Mintex M1144

Ferodo OEM replacements

Your thoughts please

Anyone know what friction material is used on the standard renault ones? For £40 a set, there could be better value for money out there.

Fair enough, it looks like a comprehensive win for standard pads then..... From what people have said you could put a digestive biscuit in the rear calipers and be pretty happy with it. I'm giving these Omp pads a bash, cheapest pad I could find today and they could actually turn out to be a better alternative as not many people have tried them - I wee away more on a night out so not too fussed if they're utter sh**e.
