Hi Guys, can anyone running a hyrdraulic handbrake on the mk2 clio sport tell me what size master cylinder they are running and how well it works..

Ive got a 0.625 AP cylinder on mine and ive bled it to death with pressure bleaders, manual bleeding etc ive tried cracking the outlet on the cylinder to see if that would let the air out but im not convinced that there is air in the system, i have a feeling the cylinder isnt big enough to push enough fluid through but if there is someone out there running a 0.625 and it works fine then my theory is wrong.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as i have a rally on thursday and i need to get it sorted by then.

HI Mike
I have tried PMing you but you have no room , are you and the car OK after the bump you had on the rally , heard various different stories of what happened.
Cheers Ian

To answer your question Mike , I run , and always have done , a .700 cylinder on the handbrake , my handbrake only comes up about inch and a half

I think i might get try a .700 cylinder then, i did manage to get the handbrake working better with the 0.625 in the end by fitting a much longer lever (its a verticle one) but the travel is far to long now so a .700 will reduce the lever travel nicely. Ive got a .700 girling but i dont trust them when used inline so demon theives will be getting another £80 out of my hard earned for an AP jobie, B******s :)
